           Our artist friend has hand painted  Murals and decorated the chalet .  Enjoy fantastic White Mountain views. Reportedly the most photographed mountain in the world, Mt. Chocorua (pronounced "Cho-koo'-ra")    is 3,475 feet with steep, bald peaks and a valley lake that makes it a very picturesque site is the view from the chalet. Walk to the beach at the end of the street. A floating dock is a few yards from the beach. It is a favorite spot for some good old fashioned swimming hole dives and antics or just lying in the sun. We like to swim out to the dock after dark and watch for shooting stars. 2  kayaks located at the beach. Make friends in the playground next to the beach. Or you can explore the four other beaches available.
The adults can stay on the upper level and the kids stay in the lower level so you can sleep in late while the kids amuse themselves downstairs. You can also do some catching up with your mate. Don’t worry about  phone bills as we have  Local and Long Distance phone calls  made in the Continental  United States included. We also have Premium Cable TV for those days when you just need to rest.   The upper level has its own entrance, three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a private bathroom for the master, full kitchen, family room and dining room .The lower level located down the stairs has its own entrance with big sliding glass doors, two bedrooms, bathroom, and family room. Both levels have an awesome view of the White Mountains.

Everyone will get a good nights rest and probably sleep in late as the chalet is located in a quiet private area with no traffic. Enjoy your morning coffee as you gaze at the White Mountains. Cook meals on the gas grill and dine casually as you watch the beautiful sunsets on the spacious deck. When its time for bed you will be put at ease with the beautiful hand painted murals that will make children feel comfortable in a new place. Before you turn in you can enjoy that drink on the deck under a romantic blanket of stars that shine ever so brightly high in the mountains and the real Milky Way is your dessert.

If you need a change of pace or there is a rainy day there is plenty to do. Drive over a classic the saco river  wooden bridge into town.  Kids and adults love this place. You are right next to North Conway with its shopping outlets. You can even go skating year round at the Ham Arena.The fishing in the area is world renowned for fly fishing with many beautiful streams rivers or you can just fish right here. All the Mount Washington Attractions are here. Mount Washington is the highest peak in the northeast. There is also many legends, history and you can even drive up the mountain or visit Story Land, and  Santa’s Village or take a ride on an old time train at the restored Conway Scenic Train Ride located next to a large playground with sprinklers. You have to go to Attitash Alpine Slide its awesome Bring your laptop as the chalet has wireless super fast connection. The area also has numerous restaurants from fine dining to the chain restaurants. We have been coming to this area for years and always find something new to do. To get the kids tired out there are many hiking trails that have wonderful views and waterfalls. Take a scenic drive on the  Kancamagas Scenic Highway to see moose and wildlife in their natural habitat.

When its time to go home you’ll leave rested and refreshed with the perfect vacation memory of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Although the nearby towns of Conway and North Conway certainly draw their fair share of the crowds, Madison is one charming option that should not be overlooked due to its ideal location near some of New Hampshire’s best natural features.

One of the highlights of any trip to Madison has to be a visit to the Madison Boulder Natural Area, home to the largest erratic in New England and one of the largest in the world. Although there aren’t any recreational pursuits available near this National Natural Landmark, you can still enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch during your visit to this huge granite rock.

However, along the rest of Madison’s terrain and in the surrounding area you will find plenty of opportunities for exciting adventures. Silver Lake offers a diverse collection of water sports that are just right for enjoying the picture-perfect scenery, while a journey into the village will take you to E.E. Cummings house, a National Historic Landmark.

The White Mountain National Forest is also teeming with activities such as hiking and mountain biking that could easily fill up your warm weather itinerary. But if you only have a few days to explore, be sure not to miss the beautiful and moderate hike up Mount Chocorua for its breathtaking views of Mount Washington and the Sandwich Range.

As with any other destination nestled in a spectacular mountain setting, you simply cannot pass up the amazing skiing opportunities that lie right outside Madison home rentals. The King Pine Ski Resort is the most convenient option in nearby East Madison, while those who want a larger ski area cannot go wrong at the Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway.
